I am going to start a series of blog posts about the DB2 administration tool db2top. The db2top tool is an attempt to do for DB2 internal processes what the UNIX top command does for UNIX system processes.
I’m not going to give an overview of the tool because there is a great db2top article on IBM DeveloperWorks by Tao Wang and Shen Li that does so already. Instead, each blog post will look at just one feature of db2top.
